“Wait, all things wrapped? I thought vinyl wraps were just for cars, what other types of wraps are there?! Wait… What even is a wrap?!?”
All great questions and we aim to answer them all! First, let’s knock out what a wrap even is! A Wrap is a shorthand for a 3m Vinyl Wrapper, and it’s an alternative to paint as a method of recoloring and restyling surfaces. For a long time, if you wanted to get something recolored, you’d have to paint it! The most common type of thing we wrap is cars, and cars are also commonly sent to the paint shop too! The difference? Well, paint flakes and cracks and fades in the sun. It gets scratched and takes abrasion damage. Without an excessive amount of attention and care, paint won’t last long, at least not with its day one luster. This is especially true of cars, but also boats and walls too! Paint also takes a LOT of work to remove, and re-add. That’s right, you cant just paint on top of the paint, the old color has to go! That means a change to the factory look of your car or boat, and while this might be what you going for it could easily reduce the car’s resale value.

So as mentioned above a wrap is made of high-quality 3m vinyl. rather than removing the paint off your surfaces, instead, they are first cleaned spick and span and dried up. then our 3m vinyl specialist applies the vinyl wrap flush, over the surface of the existing color. The finished product is an incredibly stylized look with color choices and designs paint shops could only dream of producing. This is all on top of the Og color of your car or boat, thus not replacing it but protecting it. That’s right, so a wrap not only changes the look but actually defends the stock surface from damages!
